First of all the homes based business industry is great for so many reasons: it provides you with money, freedom, and the time to enjoy them both. The benefits of a work at home business are truly amazing, however, it is still a business that you need to market like a professional. This may seem like an obvious statement, but too many people go into the home based business with the wrong ideas about what it is going to entail.
Many people are attracted to the industry because they have unrealistic ideas about how they are going to grow their business. I thought this way too when I first was introduced to the idea of working from home. I attended a get together, got excited and felt as though I was already making big bucks. I began having visions of all of my friends who would love to join this amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity with me. The next day I was beaten down by the harsh reality that none of my friends wanted to join my business.
This may not be the case for everyone who gets into the work at home business industry, but it is something to at least be aware of. The whole point of the events that you go to are to get you excited so you will make an emotional decision to join. Another big mistake people make when starting out is believing that the business or opportunity they join is the most important factor. When in reality there are tons of great opportunities and products out there. This means that YOU are the most important factor NOT the business you join. If your company did not have you, they could not operate, so you need to view your company more as a vehicle to make you money.
This may be a new concept for you, but once you learn to promote and brand yourself instead of your business, that is when you will have true freedom in the work at home business industry. You will no longer be dependent on the company or a certain product, because you will be your own brand and leader within the industry. Know you have freedom to chose any opportunity out there and succeed the same way you did with the last.
These are just a couple KEY principals to be aware of when starting your work at home business. With the proper training and knowledge you CAN achieve the life of your dreams, especially in today’s world with all the technology. Now days you can build networks of people into the thousands within a matter of months or even weeks!! The possibilities are truly endless to those who work under the correct knowledge and principals.

As recession persists, the internet provides a safe haven for many internet mlm business owners, who have plugged into a global economic source, whereas the status quo was to simply find a job in your local area, it has now shifted to global markets.
Even though now is the time for an online mlm business to flourish, many experience difficulties, even in the golden age of the internet boom.
One of the biggest downsides with many network marketing businesses is the bad reputation they have recieved from the years networkers would approach random strangers in a super market, with the promise of a life of riches.
Today, it still dogs the industry and the internet is full of claims of fraud.
The other difficulty lies in actually marketing the business. What most people have trouble with and what I had trouble with is the company website.
You may have heard the rumours, your company website is absolutely not a valid money making bridge and can have detrimental effects on your bottom line as well as your credibility.
Then, there is the problem with your company.
Network marketing companies come and go. There are new mlm companies emerging every week and just as many closing down.
So, you can’t use the replicated website or rely on your mlm company, regardless of how much you love your opportunity.
So, what then must you do? Branding is what you have to do, yourself to be exact. The internet is a tool to reach out to others and you can not hide behind a website any more. People are becoming much smarter than that.
Your company can be shut down or maybe even shut you down and that is an externel factor, you can do nothing about.
All good business people know, that in business, you must reduce your risk as much as possible before it comes back to bite you, kills your business and causes you to start from scratch.
With an online mlm homebased business you have to be independent of your company and attract your own loyal following so no matter what happens to your company you still have a long term asset and building your business back up will become an easy task.

Are you new in the world of business? Are you familiar with how your business credit affects your business? This article will discuss the most common myths about business credit and truth behind them. Let this be your guide in determining what really counts and what does not about your business credit.
Myth #1: Small business entrepreneurs or homebased business owners don’t have to be concerned about the status of their business credit.
Small businesses may deal with small business lenders but these lenders look into your business credit profile just the same. All types of lenders- whether large corporations, prominent banks, small business lenders, even individual lenders- all determine the credit worthiness of a business through its credit profile. Each time you apply for a business loan, your prospective lenders will take a look into your business credit history regardless of the size of their company.
In fact, most financing firms today process loan applications with the help of an automated system. With this system, the decision whether an application is approved or declined is based upon the credit score of the business. If your business credit score fails the cut-off, your application will immediately be rejected. Therefore, all business owners must pay attention to how they maintain their business credit history whether they’re managing a large corporation or just a small business.
Myth #2: There’s really no need to check my business credit profile often.
All business transactions you make between the suppliers, lenders, investors and insurers you deal with are reflected in your business credit report. Business credit reporting agencies update their files daily and you’ll want to make sure that your own report is accurate. Just as you need to regularly check on your personal credit report to ensure that all information it contains are correct, the same thing applies to your business credit report as well. Â
Myth #3: Newly start up businesses doesn’t have to be as concerned about their business credit as long time businesses do.
As we’ve said, the size of your business doesn’t matter when it comes to building an excellent business credit. In the same way, even if you’ve just started up with your business, it is a good practice for you to closely monitor your business credit profile. In fact, you should be very interested about monitoring your credit report while you’re in the early stages of establishing your business’s credit.
Myth #4: Your cash flow doesn’t have anything to do with the status of your business credit.
When you apply for a business credit or a business loan, your approval depends on how good your business credit profile is. Even if you get approved, the interest rates, credit limits, and the terms that will be extended to you by lenders and insurers are all dependent on your business credit profile. Certainly paying for lower interest rates, getting higher credit limits and enjoying certain financial advantages that are offered only to businesses with excellent credit will affect your business’ cash flow.

Find Out What The FTC Is Saying About Internet Home Based Businesses!
The word is out that the FTC has started a crack down on the homebased business ads being posted on the internet. It seems their starting point is with the search engines, namely Google, since it’s the biggest and the most well known. Apparently the days of over hyping your opportunity are about to come to a close.
We’ve all seen the ads; make $20,000 a month, or join with me and I’ll place 10,000 new members in your downline. The list of hype that I’ve seen on the web and in my e-mail box is sometimes unbelievable. Yet, I’m sure some people do believe all that stuff or the practice would have ceased long ago.
The forecast of the FTC clamp down was actually predicted by a lady named Ann Sieg. She wrote a post titled,”War, Peace & Marketing” on the Betternetworker.com site. Raymond Fong, of SEOnetworker, claimed that Ann was either a psychic, or just knew something that everyone else didn’t.
Raymond Fong and his partner Ferny Ceballos of SEOnetworker received an e-mail
and I’m including the exact words for you. It states as follows:
“Google has received pressure from the FTC to eradicate illegitimate business opportunities from their system. The overwhelming interest of individuals looking to the web to earn money has not decreased, rather it continues to explode exponentially. However, Google wants to eliminate anything that looks over-
hyped, has inflated or unsubstantiated claims or looks like a traditional business opportunity ad. In addition to the above, they are currently looking to elinimate self replicated websites and affiliate programs.”
The e-mail went on to say,” If Google deems you a business opportunity, they
will potentially suspend your account. If you try to market the same product
again, they will potentially blacklist you indefinitely.”
So the honey moon for thework at homebusiness industry may well be over on the internet or is it? The prediction is that sites that over-hype and continue to post outrageous claims are the ones who are going to get slapped. The savvier marketer will focus on the benefits of earning $20K a month, not promising that you will. So just remember that as an advertiser, you are expected by Google to comply by their rules and the laws of the FTC.
