As a Christian who has a homebased business, you may wonder if you can truly have the success that you dreamed about. You may be following all the right steps, going to all the marketing events, attending the training calls, being coachable but still nothing. When you are not getting the results that you so desperately need it is easy to question if God has called you to do this. I think it is naturally normal to have those thoughts and feelings.

Knowing that God created and commissioned you to dominate whatever he has called you to do should be inspiring, motivating, encouraging, and uplifting. It really is a mindset change. See it is easy to do all the right things, follow the right systems, spend all the money on training. But if you do not believe who God says you are you will not dominate.

Let’s look at some people who dominated their domain once they realized who God said they are. Abraham left his country to go into the unknown and trusted God. He become the father of the Jews. Moses didn’t think he could lead his people out of Egypt until God told him that I Am was with him. David took on Goliath and ruled Israel as the greatest king. Peter led the church in the book of Acts after he let Jesus down.

The bible is filled with countless stories of individuals that questioned who they were at first. Once they realized that they were created to dominate and rule their whole lives changed. The same is available for you. Do not look at the results you are getting now and think that this Christian home base business thing is just not for you.

Shift your thinking to what God says, embrace who you were created to be and start dominating. Remember this, you have to be the leader first. Then you must do the things that leaders do. And last you will be able to have what leaders have.

Leaders have success in their business but only once they realize who they are. The simple mindset change can really move you into the right direction so you can dominate your Christian homebased business.

It is so easy to fall in the trap thinking that you own everything. From your Christian homebased business, to your house, to the money that is in the bank account, the ownership mentality is ruling the lives of many Christians. In order to manage your Christian home base business correctly you have to switch your thinking from owner to user/manager/steward.

This simple mindset change will free you of the burdens that come with owning things. There is a familiar scripture that says the earth is God’s and everything that is in it. The most common name for God in the bible is Lord. The very meaning of that word means he is owner.

When a person gets birthed into the kingdom they acknowledge Jesus as Lord. So this understanding it is safe to say that God is owner over us and everything that we have. He allows us by grace to use it. Again a lot of Christian business owners have it all wrong.

As an owner you have to deal with the burdens of money not coming in at the right time, vendors not doing their jobs, leads not opting in to your website, chasing prospects down, sales not converting well, and many more. You take on all that responsibility and become so burden down that you can’t even enjoy life. Jesus came that we may have an abundant life.

This whole role reversal is totally opposite of what God wants for his people. Jesus told us to bring all our burdens to him. Now let’s look at you being a manager/steward.

A manager realizes that God has blessed them with the capability to run a Christian homebased business. They realize that their job is use to the resources that are available to bring profit to the business. Stewards don’t stress out when money doesn’t come in or when things aren’t going right.

They understand that since God called them to that business that he will provide what that business needs to be successful. This is not a reason to be lazy or sit back and relax. Your only job is to get better in areas of marketing, relationship building, and whatever else pertains to your type of Christian home base business.

So as you can tell being a manager instead of an owner is so much liberating and freeing. All the pressure is off you. That is the secret to managing a Christian homebased business.
